Transport Administrator/Customer Service

Our client is recruiting an Administrator/Customer Service professional to join a team responsible for administrative, customer support, and operations duties in connection with the transport and delivery of goods.

">

The work pattern involves working Monday to Friday one week, and then Sunday and other weekdays the next week. You will be paid for a full day on a Sunday.

">

We are looking for someone with excellent English communication skills who can deal with and rectify any transport issues that arise and communicate with the warehouse team and customers effectively.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">
* Complete all transport administration tasks – use word, excel, PowerPoint and transport software
">
* Act as the first point of contact for customer and supplier enquiries related to transport schedules, delivery times, and order status
">
* Coordinated with drivers, warehouse team, and sales to resolve any problems
">
* Maintain accurate records of transport operations, including vehicle logs, delivery notes, and driver reports
">
* Prepare and manage required transport documentation
">
* Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
">
* Provide accurate updates on shipment and delivery status, addressing any delays or changes proactively
">

About the Role:

This is a permanent role with a full-time contract. The ideal candidate will have a good head for dealing with transport issues and communicating with the warehouse team and customers effectively.

Requirements:

* Excellent oral and written English communication skills
">
* Able to deal with and rectify any transport issues that arise
">
* Good communication skills to communicate with the warehouse team and customers effectively
">
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
">
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
">
* Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential
">

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in our office and will be required to work from home occasionally. You will be provided with a laptop and any necessary equipment to perform your job duties.
