About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting their independence and self-advocacy skills.
* To work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to deliver effective support services.
* To identify and implement opportunities for service users to develop new skills and interests.
* To maintain accurate records of service user activities and progress.
Requirements:
* A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
* Relevant experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
