Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced and senior embedded software engineer to support projects in-house.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in STM32 and low-power design, as well as firmware test coverage.
Experience in medical device design is advantageous, as well as wireless communication.
Responsibilities STM32: Program and debug the STM32 family of microcontrollers with a focus on low-power architectures Low-Power Design: Write code for power-constrained devices through implementing and managing different sleep modes, power-down states, and efficient interrupt handling FW Test Coverage: Develop and implement robust test strategies, including unit, integration, and system-level tests with focus on requirements-based test coverage and documenting results for regulatory compliance Hardware Experience: Collaborate with the hardware team and read schematics to understand PCB layouts and debug hardware–firmware interactions IEC 62304: Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, risk management, and software safety classifications Low-Level Communication: Experience with I2 C, SPI, and UARTWireless Communication: Experience with RF and BLE is a plus CRC: Experience implementing and using CRC algorithms for data integrity and error detection AES: Experience with AES for secure data transmission and storage Altium: Familiarity with PCB layouts is a plus
