The Role
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of group financial control, consolidation, compliance, and external reporting across a complex multi-entity structure.
The role will suit an experienced accountant who enjoys operating at both a strategic and executional level, and who is comfortable acting as a technical authority within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and production of senior management reporting
Own the year-end group audit process and preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements
Act as the technical accounting lead across the group, advising on complex accounting matters and IFRS interpretations
Oversee financial governance, compliance, and control frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
Partner closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business to support performance and decision-making
Candidate Profile
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 10+ years post-qualification experience
Strong background in group reporting and consolidation within a multi-entity environment
Demonstrable experience leading audits and managing external stakeholders (auditors, banks, advisers)
High level of technical accounting expertise (IFRS and statutory reporting)
Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident operating at senior leadership level
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join an international organisation, going through a transformation project.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to build a team of high-performing professionals, working across international locations.
Candidates available on short notice or with reduced notice periods will be strongly preferred.
