This is a unique chance to work as a Senior Health and Safety Professional. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, monitoring, and improving health, safety, and environmental standards across all sites.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Develop, implement, and audit Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and policies.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to legislation and company standards.
* Prepare and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Deliver safety inductions, training, and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture on-site and provide coaching and guidance to site management and workers.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, producing detailed reports with corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including permits, certifications, inspection logs, and audit reports.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.
* Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, pollution prevention, and energy efficiency.
