The Powerscourt Hotel, Resort & Spa is currently recruiting for a Pastry Chef de Partie role seeking individuals who are highly motivated, well organised and passionate in delivering memorable experiences to join our Culinary team.
This role offers a competitive rate of pay, ongoing training and complimentary transport to and from Bray Dart Station.

About the role
Responsibilities
* High level of culinary preparation in busy pastry kitchen in a 5* hotel
* Creation of afternoon teas, pastries, desserts, and cakes for our various outlets
* Maintenance of HACCP and sanitisation principles and protocols in the pastry kitchen
* Communication with senior kitchen team on the day to day running of the area
Ideal candidates will possess
* Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.
* Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests as appropriate.
* Knowledge of food safety handling.
* Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals.
* Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up.
* Ability to focus attention on details.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will have training and experience in a high standard food prep and service environment.
