Our site operates to BRCGS Grade AA standards, with a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.We're now looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead shift operations at our facility near Athboy.Salary and location Salary:€42,000–€48,000per annum, depending on experience Location: Rathcairn, Athboy, Co. Meath. On-site, factory-based role.About the roleAs Production Supervisor, you will:• Lead a team of production operatives on shift to deliver the daily and weekly production plan.• Ensure products are manufactured safely, legally and to specification in a BRCGS-certified environment.• Manage line start-ups, changeovers and shutdowns, minimising downtime and waste.• Make sure all HACCP, CCP and quality checks are completed and recorded accurately.• Drive high standards of GMP, hygiene, housekeeping and health & safety on the factory floor.• Work closely with Planning, Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues quickly and keep lines running smoothly.• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve yield, efficiency and right-first-time.What you'll be doing day-to-day• Allocating people and machines to lines and updating the team on targets and priorities.• Monitoring line performance and dealing with issues such as breakdowns, quality deviations or material shortages.• Coaching and supporting operators, including training on SOPs, CCP checks, hygiene and safe systems of work.• Completing end-of-shift reports on volumes, downtime, waste and key issues.• Supporting internal, customer and third-party audits.What you'll bring• 3+ years' experience in food manufacturing (or similar high-care FMCG), with at least 2 years in a senior supervisory role.• Good working knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, allergen control and CCP monitoring.• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.• Strong organisational skills – able to plan labour, manage changeovers and juggle shifting priorities.• A practical, "on the floor" leadership style – visible, supportive and hands-on.• Confident communication skills and comfort using basic IT/ERP systems.Nice to have• HACCP / Food Safety certification (Level 3 or equivalent).• Experience improving KPIs such as OEE, yield, waste or right-first-time.• Background in meat, pet food, dairy, bakery or similar.What we offer• Salary: €42,000–€48,000, depending on experience.• Opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, modern BRCGS Grade AA site.• Supportive, close-knit team culture with direct access to senior management.• Training and development with genuine scope to progress into more senior operations roles.• On-site parking and a convenient Co.
