The role
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through community-driven fundraising? As a Regional Development Officer, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting local volunteer fundraising Branches across the Leinster region. Working closely with the Fundraising Team Lead, you’ll be the key catalyst behind successful events, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising campaigns, helping Branches thrive and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteer Branches, responding promptly to their needs and supporting event applications.
Collaborate with the Fundraising Team Lead and local Branches to ensure the success of fundraising events, campaigns, and projects.
Drive volunteer recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build sustainable Branch capacity and succession planning.
Manage income targets and full profit and loss responsibilities for volunteer Branches within the region.
Utilize CRM and business intelligence tools to track activities, report outcomes, and identify new fundraising opportunities.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in sales, fundraising, or community development roles with a track record of meeting targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire volunteer communities and collaborate effectively.
Strong project management skills including multitasking and time management across concurrent initiatives.
Self-motivated and innovative, able to work independently while building lasting relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
Full clean driving licence with a willingness to travel frequently and work outside normal office hours when required.
Several years’ experience in comparable fundraising or sales roles with demonstrated success.
