Job Title: Culinary Team Member
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef and sous chef in ensuring that food preparation, production, and service are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the head chef and sous chef in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Participate in food preparation and production activities, including food purchasing, storage, and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and HACCP requirements.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety policies.
* Support the head chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing.
* Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
* Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field (desirable).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to work effectively under pressure and as part of a close-knit team.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
