Job Summary:
The
Procurement Coordinator
role is responsible for supporting the Department Heads through the purchasing lifecycle from supplier selection, implementation, order processing through to supplier reconciliation.
Key duties include responsibility for the purchase order system, Procure Wizard, stock counts & reconciliations together with ensuring accuracy of all deliveries compared to orders.
Principle Responsibilities
* Manage the purchasing lifecycle from supplier engagement to order completion and invoice processing
Responsible for the procurement system - Procure Wizard.
* Source and onboard new suppliers in accordance with company standards.
* Develop and maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
* Handle supplier negotiations with confidence and professionalism.
Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions where necessary.
Process purchase orders and supplier invoices in line with company policies.
Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and resolve order discrepancies or delays.
Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations.
Update and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.
Support the Head of Departments in sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, and comparing supplier pricing.
Prepare stock and procurement reports for management review.
Reconciliation of supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries.

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a purchasing and finance role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of financial control processes and reconciliations.
A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Proficiency in using purchasing and financial systems, particularly Procure Wizard and Sage or similar software.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork abilities.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
