Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the commercial department, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and optimizing our commercial operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies to secure new sponsorship deals and maintain existing relationships with sponsors and suppliers. You will work closely with the management committee to set targets and ensure that they are consistently met.
In addition to your commercial acumen, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the commercial team, including coordinating tasks between sponsors, suppliers, and internal teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of income and costs, producing regular reports, and identifying areas for profit improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
* Bachelors honors degree in business or related field is preferred but not essential
* Extensive track record in business development
* Previous sales role experience
* Extensive experience in building relationships with businesses and companies
* Demonstrable experience in networking and winning new business
* Motivated to exceed sales targets
* Disciplined in terms of administrative tasks and time management
* Ability to work cross functionally within organisation and with volunteers
* Strong work ethic
