As a Forklift Operator at Kepak Group, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of our production processes.
This is a hands-on position that offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with opportunities for career advancement.
Working Hours:
35 hours with the possibility of overtime based on operational needs.
Rotating 4-day week (Monday to Saturday) with rotating AM/PM weekly shift pattern.
AM Shift:
5:00 AM – 3:15 PM
PM Shift:
3:15 PM – 1:00 AM
Responsibilities
Operating a forklift to load and unload goods and materials
Transporting goods and materials to and from storage areas
Supplying production lines with raw materials and ingredients
Maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary documentation
Ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced
Following all relevant safety procedures and guidelines
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
Valid forklift certification
At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy loads.
