Role Overview:
The Grade V Staff Officer combines managerial and administrative responsibilities, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective team management in a client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Administration & Service Delivery
1. Manage area of responsibility efficiently, meeting deadlines and service standards.
2. Maintain accurate, confidential records and archives.
3. Provide administrative support for meetings and keep stakeholders informed.
4. Use technology effectively to complete work to a high standard.
5. Monitor team efficiency and implement service improvements.
Finance
6. Knowledge of financial concepts (, accounts, cashbooks) and ability to make informed financial decisions.
Customer Service
7. Promote a customer-focused environment; treat service users and stakeholders with dignity and respect.
Human Resources & Staff Management
8. Supervise, support, and promote the wellbeing of staff.
9. Manage performance and workload distribution within the team.
10. Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure effective communication.
