Job Title: Retail Store Operations Manager
Excel Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting a Retail Store Operations Manager for our client's store in North Dublin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic retail professional to join a dynamic and growing supermarket group at an exciting stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations and high standards throughout.
* Help lead the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and consistent in-store excellence.
* Contribute to achieving sales, margin, and performance targets across all departments.
* Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members for the opening.
* Implement and maintain high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, stock control, and health & safety.
* Handle cash management, shift planning, and problem-solving as needed.
* Deliver strong communication and foster a positive, motivated team environment.
* Take ownership in the absence of the Store Manager and help lead the team through the store's successful launch and ongoing growth.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supermarket or convenience retail management role.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to motivate and develop a new team.
* Commercially aware with a focus on delivering KPIs and customer satisfaction.
* Passion for retail and excited to be part of a new store opening.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, during the store setup and launch phase.
