Pharmacy Assistant Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Crosshaven.
As part of our pharmacy team, you will work closely with the pharmacist to provide excellent customer service, assist with dispensing prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities: To receive, record and assemble prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.
To assist customers by providing professional advice on medicines and OTC products.
Maintain stock control including anticipating shortages, communicating with the team, placing orders with wholesalers and verifying receipts.
Required Skills & Qualifications: An IPU Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills are also required as well as ability to build relationships within a team.
You must be comfortable using computerised equipment such as MPS Dispensing system is an advantage but not necessary at all.
