We are looking for an experienced HGV Delivery driver for the south-east region. The ideal candidate will hold a C Licence, CPC & Taco. This is a practical, physical role suited to someone who enjoys teamwork and variety in their day-to-day work.
Schedule:
· Tuesday to Friday
· Standard hours: 8:00AM - 5:30 PM
· No evening or shift work
· Weekend work is not required, except on rare occasions (2–3 times per year)
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
· Multi-drop deliveries daily to customers'
· Pick and review orders prior to delivery
· Load delivery items safely and efficiently
· Transport, unload and deliver items in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss
· Adhere to time and route schedules
· Determine the best routes taking into consideration traffic congestion, construction, and other factors
· Communicate traffic delays and other concerns to dispatch as needed
· Obtain delivery confirmation from customers
Requirements:
· Must hold a clean C License, CPC certs, and Taco
· Previous experience in a multi-delivery role an advantage
· Superior customer service skills
Reliable, efficient, well-mannered, and capable of clear communication
