Data Centre Chief Engineer
A dynamic and detail-oriented professional is sought to oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment within a data centre.
* Ensure all mechanical equipment operates at peak efficiency through planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work.
* Interact with onsite Engineering Operations Technicians (EOT) and third-party vendors as an expert technical resource.
* Serve as a focal point for all facility operations within a given data centre, supporting infrastructure services and fire/life safety equipment.
* Involvement in electrical equipment management.
About the Role
This position requires extensive industry-related experience with in-depth knowledge of UPS, backup generator systems, and generic mechanical-room infrastructure.
Proficiency in IT programs such as Microsoft Office products is also essential.
A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is mandatory.
