Radiotherapy RMO - UPMC Hillman Cancer Centre WaterfordLocation: UPMC Whitfield HospitalJob type: PermanentOverview of role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Resident Medical Officer to join our multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists and Clinical Nurse Specialists working within a busy outpatient radiotherapy service in the Southeast. This role will support the provision of medical services within the Department with the goal of providing high-quality patient care for our oncology patients. There will be opportunities to develop interests in all aspects of cancer care and training will be provided as required to progress in your role. Following the completion of our linac replacement programme in Spring 2024, the Department has moved to establish a stereotactic radiotherapy programme and clinical trial portfolio. This role will be based in the UPMC Hillman Cancer Centre, within UPMC Whitfield Hospital, Waterford, and would be ideal for doctors with an interest in Radiation Oncology.
