Job Title: Regional Director - Home Care Location: Dublin South & Noth Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday Service Type: Disabilities - Homecare Salary: €65000 - €80,000 a year Excel Healthcare is excited to partner with one of Ireland's premier nursing home groups in appointing a Regional Director - Homecare to provide strategic oversight and operational leadership across their disability services. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and leadership for homecare services across the Dublin region, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and national care standards. Oversee the day-to-day management of homecare operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centred services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Lead, support, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of managers, coordinators, and care staff across multiple locations. Ensure services comply with HIQA standards, HSE guidelines, and all relevant health and safety regulations. Maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring care plans are tailored, regularly reviewed, and responsive to changing needs. Set and monitor KPIs across service delivery, staff performance, client satisfaction, and budgetary control. Lead regional workforce planning, including recruitment, retention strategies, and ongoing staff training and development. Drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and lead the development of new care initiatives or service lines within the region. Essential Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role, ideally within the healthcare, homecare, nursing home, or social care sectors. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong track record of managing and motivating multidisciplinary teams. Comprehensive understanding of homecare standards and regulatory frameworks, with specific knowledge of HIQA guidelines (within the Irish context). Proven ability to identify challenges, develop practical solutions, and drive operational excellence. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, families, and external partners. Experience in budget oversight, financial planning, and effective resource allocation. Familiarity with homecare management systems and the ability to adapt to evolving healthcare technologies. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
