AA Euro Group is working with a leading main contractor to recruit a Site Manager with a strong background in finishes for a major high-profile project based in the heart of Cork City. This is an exciting opportunity for a finishes specialist to join an established contractor on a flagship development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all internal finishes on-site to the highest standards of quality and safety
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades to ensure timely and accurate execution of finishing works
Monitor daily activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and programme
Conduct regular quality checks and snagging inspections, ensuring compliance with company standards
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other key stakeholders
Ensure health & safety compliance across all finishing activities
• Participate in site meetings, report progress, and resolve any on-site issues relating to finishes
Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements:
5+ years' experience in a Site Management role, ideally with a strong focus on finishes
Proven experience managing finishing stages on major construction projects
Trade background or relevant qualification in construction management or similar
Strong knowledge of interior finishes including drylining, joinery, flooring, painting, M&E interface, etc.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Knowledge of health and safety standards and site regulations
Based in or willing to relocate to Cork City
