This position is based in Jervis Street .Job PurposeThis full-time position will assist the gym manager in the running of the gym to the highest standard in line with FLYEfit policies and procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervision of FLYE classesEnsuring that FLYEfit classes are instructed correctly in a professional manner and are starting and finishing on time. Assistant Gym Managers will also teach gym classes on a weekly basis.Team managementTo actively engage with team members and ensure all staff are adhering to FLYEfit policies and procedures. To delegate tasks and classes to the team in a fair and consistent manner. To take ownership in team members training and development.Customer Care/Member ServiceProvide outstanding customer service to our members. Deal with feedback from members in a positive and efficient manner. Deal with any lost property issues, documenting details accurately.AdminTo assist the Manager in the completion of all gym admin duties accurately and efficiently. This includes payroll, incident reports, team members paperwork, rostering, gym safety manual and ensuring the gym shift handover is communicated correctly.Health & Safety DutiesTo make sure relevant Health and Safety documents are in place and help to ensure that team members are complying with FLYEfit Health & Safety policies and procedures.Any other ad-hoc duties that reasonably relate to the assistant manager position.Qualifications and Skills· Flexible· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.· Excellent people management skills· An ability to work on their own initiative.· Good working knowledge of gym industryThe successful candidate will be required to work some early morning and/or evening shifts along with weekend work on occasion.Job Type: PermanentPay: From €29,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeEmployee assistance programGym membershipExperience:gym management: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification:Certified Personal Trainer (required)Work Location: In person
