The Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our growing team in County Kerry. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in our clients' lives, providing essential support with daily living activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in your community and help individuals maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with personal care (e.g., showering, dressing, grooming).
* Supporting with mobility and transfers.
* Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Assisting with errands and appointments.
* Maintaining accurate and timely care records.
* Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
* A QQI Level 5 certification in Healthcare Support or a related field (or working towards it).
* Previous experience in a caregiving role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
* A full, clean driver's license and access to a reliable car are essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
* Willingness to undergo Garda vetting.
