Person Specification;
Qualifications & Experience;
Degree level qualification in Social Care, Youth & Community, Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Social work, Social Sciences, Teaching and Nursing.
Previous experience in Under 18s Residential Services desirable.

Responsibilities;
Meet with the manager regarding his/her work progression
To assist the manager in the day to day running of the center.
Provide direct support to residents through:
Intervention, support & supervision
Advocacy and community referrals
Behaviour supervision of residents at all times.
Planning of recreational and group activities.
To assist with residents casework through;
Assist with residents Individual Personal Plans
Ensure all residents are fully informed about all entitlements.
To maintain a safe and healthy living environment through;
Adherence to safety and security protoco;s
Routine tasks and domestic duties to residents
Keeping stock of household necessities and the purchase of weekly groceries
Providing meals along with residents to promote independent living
Mediating disputes and encouraging co-operation
To undertake administrative duties through;
Maintaining residents details and documentation
Participate in staff meetings
Provide written reports to the manager/Team Lead
Recording of incidents
Other Duties;
To have a positive and enthusiastic attitude at work;
Throughout your interactions with management, staff and residents
Throughout your interactions with external agencies.
Experience Required;
Qualifications, skills and experience required;
Degree-level qualification in Social Care, Youth and Community, Early Childhood, Social Science, Sociology or another related discipline .
