You'll work directly with senior practitioners on Circuit Court, High Court and Court of Appeal matters across medical negligence, commercial litigation, judicial review, personal injuries, insurance defence and professional negligence cases. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway towards conducting negotiations, appearing at adjudications and independently managing significant files. This firm are based in Dublin city centre.
What You'll Do
Review solicitor files, pleadings and court documentation
Draft Bills of Costs and supporting schedules
Assist with adjudication and negotiation preparation
Analyse professional fees, counsel fees and outlays
Liaise with solicitors, insurers, counsel and experts
Attend adjudications, negotiations and consultations
Conduct legal and procedural research on costs recovery
Work with modern legal technology and AI-assisted systems

Prior costs experience isn't essential at trainee level, we're focused on aptitude, communication and commercial awareness. You'll need strong written and verbal skills, excellent attention to detail, solid Word and Excel ability, and a genuine interest in litigation and advocacy.
