Cpl in partnership is seeking a Production Planner to join their state-of-the-art site in Dublin, Grange Castle, on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract with a hybrid working model.
Role Summary
The Production Planner is responsible for activities including:
1. Production Planning
2. Demand / Capacity Management
3. Plan Governance
4. System Parametrization and MD review
5. Inventory Control
This role collaborates with the Production Scheduling Team and other stakeholders to ensure a feasible and balanced supply plan aligned with service levels, safety stock, raw material, capacity, and constraints. The Production Planner aims to meet performance metrics, operate in compliance with the global model, and suggest improvements through the IMEx framework.
Role Responsibilities: Production Planning
1. Manage planning for 1-36 months horizon
2. Review alerts, identify changes, prioritize orders with the scheduling team
3. Participate in Material Supply Tier 1 meetings and escalate issues as needed
4. Engage in cross-site calls to address demand and supply issues
5. Coordinate order handovers ensuring network material availability
6. Conduct weekly meetings with schedulers to monitor schedules
7. Analyze demand changes monthly, evaluate impacts, and communicate with stakeholders
8. Collaborate with upstream/downstream sites to validate demand changes and identify root causes
9. Model demand gaps caused by source changes
10. Work with stakeholders to resolve demand signal issues
11. Support scenario planning analyses
12. Manage resource capacity to ensure feasible plans
Plan Governance
1. Support allocation plans with BSL guidance and handovers
2. Participate in weekly supply governance calls
3. Identify root causes of issues and prioritize actions
Parameters and Metrics
1. Update system master data
2. Monitor key planning metrics and improve them
3. Escalate issues within the Tier structure
Inventory Control
1. Manage inventory usage to prevent obsolescence
2. Track inventory vs. targets, monitor shelf life, and coordinate RIDS processes
Qualifications
* BS/BA in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
* Experience in pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain management
* Knowledge of ERP/advanced planning systems
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of manufacturing and packaging processes
* Ability to manage priorities in a complex environment
* Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
* APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
* Ability to perform complex data analysis
