Banking Customer Advisor | Dingle Staffline is proud to partner with a well-known Financial Services and Banking Institution that combines a strong local presence with a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Banking Customer Advisor to join the team in Dingle. This is a one-year temporary contract with weekly pay, offered through Staffline, with potential for extension or a permanent role depending on business needs. A five-week training programme will take place in once you have shadowed the team in branch, with working hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm. About the Role As a Banking Customer Advisor, you'll be a friendly and visible presence on the branch floor, assisting customers with their day-to-day banking needs and delivering a personal, high-quality service. You'll help customers access our digital banking options, manage queries, and ensure every interaction reflects the bank's commitment to professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities Greeting and engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate support Assisting customers with self-service options, including mobile and online banking and in-branch kiosks Managing customer queries and minor complaints, escalating to senior staff where required Using i Pads to update customer information and identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience Supporting the Teller team in processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements as required, maintaining accuracy and balancing at the end of the day. Identifying and referring potential sales opportunities to the relevant team members Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a customer-facing service role within banking, retail, or hospitality Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Confident using digital tools and adaptable to new technologies Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Completed Leaving Certificate Ability to attend in-person training This role is a controlled function as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.
