Who we're looking for
Applicants must have experience in caring either in a professional or family capacity.
The ideal applicant will be honest, caring, patient and able to speak English fluently.
If you do not have your QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification, you should be working towards it or we can provide QQI training in Care Skills & Care of the Elderly for free.
Full clean Irish/EU Drivers Licence is essential.
Applicants must be able to supply suitable character references and be willing to complete a Garda Vetting Form.
Must be eligible to work in the Republic.
Salary Structure
For qualified applicants with full QQI (Care Skills & Care Of The Elderly) and 2 years experience: €16.50 per hour Mon to Saturday and €19.00 per hour on Sundays. Half hour rates are €9.75 Mon to Saturday and €11.00 on Sundays.
For qualified applicants with full QQI but 2 years experience: €16.25 per hour Mon to Saturday and €18.75 per hour on Sundays. Half hour rates are €9.50 Mon to Saturday and €10.75 on Sundays.
For applicants without full QQI but with Care Skills and Care Of The Elderly or with full QQI without those: €15.50 per hour Mon to Saturday and €18.00 per Sunday. Half hour rates €9.25 Mon to Saturday and €10.50 on Sundays.
If you do not have any QQI, we can provide free training in QQI Care Skills and Care Of The Elderly, interim rate while you achieve these: €14.50 per hour Mon to Saturday and €17.00 per hour on Sundays. Half hour rates €9.00 Mon to Saturday and €10.25 on Sundays.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in caring (professional or family capacity)
Fluent in English
Full clean Irish/EU Driver's licence
Ability to provide character references and complete Garda Vetting Form
Eligibility to work in the Republic
Working towards or providing QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification
