Lead from the Front.Are you a senior Oracle Cloud Financials professional who thrives on solving complex problems, leading clients through change, and delivering enterprise-scale transformation?Version 1 — the UK & Ireland's leading Oracle Cloud partner and Oracle EMEA Innovation Partner of the Year 2023 — is expanding its Oracle practice and is looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant to lead high-impact finance transformation programmes for major organisations.This is a role for someone who wants ownership, influence, and variety — not just configuration, but true consulting leadership.Why This Role Stands OutThis is a senior, client-facing consulting role where you'll shape solutions, guide decision-making, and act as a trusted Oracle Cloud advisor.You will:Lead flagship Oracle Cloud Financials implementations across modules including GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, and ExpensesOwn the functional journey end-to-end — from Proof of Concept through go-live and post-implementation optimisationWork directly with senior stakeholders, influencing how modern finance functions are designed and deliveredPlay a key role in an award-winning Oracle practice known for delivery excellence and innovationWhat You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant, you will:Lead and deliver core Oracle Cloud Financials workstreams on enterprise programmesConfigure Oracle Cloud instances for client Proofs of Concept and demonstrationsRun requirements gathering, design, and gap analysis workshopsLead application configuration and solution validation workshopsDrive functional ownership of:Data migration activitiesIntegrations with peripheral systemsTesting strategy, script creation, and UAT supportDeliver high-quality reporting solutions using:Oracle Transactional BI (OTBI)Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)Smart ViewProduce clear, high-quality functional documentation using OUM and/or AIMSupport training delivery, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live supportManage change requests, risks, and client expectations throughout the delivery lifecycleEnsure clients are prepared for and adopt Oracle Cloud quarterly releasesProvide clear, structured status updates to project managers and clients
Qualifications
What We're Looking ForEssential ExperienceYou will have:Strong, hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials experience across multiple modules:GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, ExpensesExperience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementationsStrong knowledge of Oracle Cloud reporting tools:OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart ViewConfident leading workshops, engaging stakeholders, and driving functional decision-makingExperience producing functional specifications to support technical integrationsAbility to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining quality, pace, and client confidenceDesirable ExperienceYou will have:Accounting or finance backgroundExposure to Oracle EPM modulesExperience with integrations, REST APIs, or complex ERP landscapesReady to Take the Lead?If you're a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials consultant ready to own solutions, lead transformation, and shape the future of enterprise finance, we'd love to hear from you.
