About the Role:
* Day-to-day operations of IT include managing and supervising team members.
* ICT systems require regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
* Patch management is crucial for keeping systems up-to-date and secure.
* VMware environments need to be managed for virtualisation needs.
* Microsoft Server Management requires oversight for optimal performance.
* Firewall management ensures network security.
* Network tasks involve Aruba Wi-Fi management, including wireless networks and user authentication.
* MDM provides mobile device management to support staff.
* The Support Desk must be supervised for timely issue resolution.
* Liaising with stakeholders addresses ICT-related concerns.
* Coordination with external agencies supports ICT initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data backup and replication using VEEAM prevent loss and facilitate recovery.
* User accounts, permissions, and group policies are managed through Windows Active Directory Configuration & Maintenance.
* M365 services administration is overseen.
* TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NPS knowledge troubleshoots network issues.
* Monitoring system performance and network health uses tools like PRTG.
* Operating system images are created and deployed for new and existing devices.
* Document workflow solutions are implemented to streamline processes.
* Cyber security best practices are promoted within the organisation.
* Security measures for endpoints, including encryption, are deployed and managed.
* Security certificates are renewed and managed in a timely manner.
* Remote access for vendors is coordinated and overseen.
* Escalated issues are resolved with external support teams.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in patch deployment across various systems ensures security and compliance.
* Service desk management involves overseeing ticketing systems and ensuring timely issue resolution.
* Familiarity with ITIL practices is beneficial.
* Strong leadership skills manage day-to-day IT operations, coordinating tasks and monitoring performance.
* Expertise in VMware includes configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server manages server roles, configurations, and security settings.
* Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy management experience is required.
* Solid Linux system experience includes installation, configuration, and maintenance.
* Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for Linux environments.
* Palo Alto firewalls are experienced with, including configuring rules, managing security policies, and monitoring traffic.
* Aruba Wi-Fi solutions and Clear Pass experience includes configuring wireless networks and managing user authentication.
* MDM proficiency deploys and manages MDM solutions to secure and monitor mobile devices.
