Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
To lead our Finance and Client Asset Oversight within SDI.
Under the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act ****, the individual has overall responsibility for managing the operation of the firm's finance and client asset oversight.
They will be responsible for the firm's compliance with the client asset regulations.
Primary duties will include:
Preparing daily P&L for SDI
Reconciling trading system to accounting system for revenue and client balances
Perform accounting and reporting activities throughout the month
Validation and reconciliation of monthly results and posting of month end adjustments and reconciliations of books and records (ORACLE)
Assisting with implementation of current processes and integration of control enhancements
New and existing trade validation and reporting
Balance sheet analysis
Updating Blackline (month end reporting tool)
Audit related queries
Assisting with trading and accounting system migrations
Treasury management
Budgeting and forecasting
Client asset experience in compliance with CBI Client Asset Requirements (CAR)
Develop Finance and Client Asset control presence in Dublin for other related businesses
Qualifications
To land this role you will need
:
EU or overseas Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent) or qualified by experience who has had experience in the preparation of accounts, within the Financial Services sector
3+ years of Product Control / Financial Control experience.
Preferably to have knowledge of daily product accounting for digital products and derivatives.
Working within a regulated environment and exposure to Sarbannes Oxley requirements; controls surrounding division of duties
Experience of monthly and daily routine processes for daily P&L and regulatory risk and client asset reporting
Basic knowledge of derivatives and other financial instruments
Solid general ledger and balance sheet experience
