About this Role: We are seeking a qualified accounting professional to join our Finance Team based at our Head Office in Mallow, Co. Cork. This role forms part of our structured Training Programme which offers broad-based, hands-on experience in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording transactions accurately and in a timely manner Accounts Payable and Receivable Help process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions Bank Reconciliation Assist in reconciling company bank statements identifying any discrepancies Inventory Accounting Liaise with key suppliers customers internal teams to meet commercial requirements Financial Analysis Analyse financial data including contract profitability progress reporting costing margin analysis Financial Reporting Prepare financial statements reports at contract business unit company level Expense Management Monitor analyse expenses ensure accuracy adherence budgetary guidelines Auditing Support Provide necessary documentation information for internal external audits Budgeting Forecasting Participate budget forecasting processes aid financial planning decision-making Software Utilization Use accounting software proficiently streamline processes maintain accurate records Communication Collaborate cross-functional teams provide financial information insights as required
