Job Title: Toolmaker Technician III Position Overview We are seeking a skilled toolmaker technician to join our team. As a key member of the manufacturing engineering, operations, and new product development teams you will be responsible for turning CAD designs into precision tooling fixtures prototype moulds and functional prototypes working with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
1. To programme set up and operate 3/4/5 axis machines FANUC HAAS Doosan DMG Mori EDM wire & Die sinker manual lathe manual mill surface grinder machine various materials to create precision tooling fixtures moulds and prototypes analyse specs determine required tools equipment apply material expertise machining strategies interpret blueprints layouts sketches or non-dimensioned CAD models plan carry out efficient high-quality machining ensure machined parts meet all dimensional surface finish functional standards choose best most efficient machining methods without compromising quality uphold highest standards quality safety.
2. NFQ Level 7 engineering/toolmaking trade qualification essential.
3.
