Overview
The Senior Investment Analyst’s role is to work collaboratively within the Irish Portfolio Monitoring team.
Responsibilities
* The review and analysis of investee reports for each investment as received.
* Being responsible for the creation and presentation of the annual review paper for each investment.
* Conducting company and industry research as required.
* Conducting financial statement analysis and assisting in the preparation of valuations for equity investments.
* Attending investee company meetings as required.
* Building effective relationships with wider team, support departments (legal, risk and compliance), investee companies and co-investors as required.
Ideal Candidate
* Have a relevant third level qualification.
* 4+ years’ relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, or similar environment (private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, commercial/corporate banking, accountancy etc).
* Experience working in finance and/or portfolio monitoring.
* Be a Chartered Financial Analyst or be progressing towards either CFA qualification or accountancy qualification.
* Demonstrate a keen and well-informed interest in investment and in developing knowledge and expertise.
* Knowledge of data analytics.
