Job description
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic chef to cook a locally produced breakfast for our hotel guests, hours can be extended if wanted to cater for our Carvery Lunch Service.
Our kitchen is a scratch kitchen where we focus on making our own, growing our own and sourcing the best of local ingredients.
A passion for local, seasonal and sustainable produce is essential for any of our team members.
This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic team, helping to deliver menus that change with the seasons and showcase our fantastic local produce such as Irish Wagyu beef, farmhouse cheeses (Coolea, Macroom Buffalo, Toonsbridge, Gubbeen) ,free-range poultry, our house sourdough breads and more.
What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:
Experience in a busy kitchen is an advantage
Passion for food, respect for ingredients and focus on quality
Fluent English speaker
Highly competent in the area of food safety and HACCP
