We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass-lined and process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
This is a hands on, customer-facing role with regular travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, test, and commission glass-lined process equipment
Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical overhauls
Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on site
Support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), upgrades, and retrofits
Prepare service reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation
Provide technical support, spares advice, and after-sales service
Build strong customer relationships and support service growth
Coordinate with internal teams on projects and scheduling
Deliver customer training when required
Requirements
Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer
Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, or drive systems
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Full driver's licence and willingness to travel
Desirable
Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries
Exposure to glass-lined equipment or corrosion-resistant systems
