It is also celebrated as a destination for special occasions, including weddings and spa retreats.Role DescriptionThis full-time position for a Bar Manager is based on-site at Lough Eske Castle in Donegal. The Bar Manager will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring consistent delivery of excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage quality. Responsibilities include managing bar staff, developing staff training programs, creating and managing beverage menus, overseeing inventory, and collaborating with other departments to enhance the guest experience. This individual will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.QualificationsStrong Customer Service and Communication skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences and effectively liaise with staff and stakeholders.Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations, including managing inventory, ensuring quality, and creating innovative menus.Experience in Training and supervising bar staff, fostering a positive and professional team environment.Sales skills to meet revenue goals, boost profitability, and contribute to the success of the business.Ability to handle a dynamic work environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.Previous experience in a similar bar management or hospitality leadership role is highly preferred.Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekendsHospitality Management Degree preferredMinimum two years experience at Assistant Management level, in a 4 or 5 star hotel
