Requirements:
* Experience in a food production management role, preferably in artisan, fresh food, or meal production
* 5-7 years in a similar role,
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
* Experience managing production schedules and achieving output targets
* A passion for high-quality, handmade food and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising on quality
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or early hours as needed
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the food production facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency
* Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, chefs, and production operatives
* Ensure timely production and delivery of products for multiple retail outlets and events
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure a continuous supply of ingredients and packaging
* Implement and maintain HACCP and food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with management on new product development, seasonal menus, and scaling of successful ranges
* Maintain accurate production records, schedules, and KPI reports
* Identify process improvements and efficiency gains while maintaining product quality
* Liaise with store and event managers to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction
