Senior and Staff Grade Clinical Psychologists - Children's Primary Care
* We are seeking Senior and Staff Grade Clinical Psychologists to join our team in Galway City, Athenry, Loughrea & Tuam (East Galway).
About the Role:
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to children and their families in a primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and treat children with mental health issues using evidence-based interventions.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* Conduct assessments and provide reports as required.
* Provide consultation and education to other healthcare professionals on child mental health issues.
* Participate in clinical governance and audit activities.
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology (e.g. Doctorate or Master's degree) from an institution approved by the relevant accrediting body in the Republic of Ireland.
* Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible for registration.
* At least 2 years post-registration experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
