Responsibilities
* Maintenance, repair and commissioning of a full range of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
* Deliver great service to customers whilst working on equipment such as Air Handling Units, chillers, kitchen extract canopies, fire dampers and controls.
* Ensure all customer equipment is in perfect working order, efficient and effective.
* Travel within the Leinster region to collect parts, etc.
* Installation and servicing of HVAC equipment, mainly Data Centres, including Ireland and international work (two weeks in four).
* Collaborate with colleagues and the management team as necessary.
* Escalate to the direct report any risk items.
* Ensure that all customer facilities and services are available within the requirements of the contract specification and assets are operating effectively.
* Liaise with specialists and suppliers regarding industry and manufacturing requirements.
* Commit to Continuous Professional Development.
Skills & Qualifications
* 3 years plus experience in a Senior Service HVAC Technician role.
* Experience working on large commercial projects.
* Proven experience servicing HVAC equipment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, diagnostic ability, attention to detail.
* Self-contained with the ability to work alone on some assignments.
* Good documentation practice.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, including influencing and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, including influencing senior stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of VSDs and conventional motor starter controls; understanding of BMS systems and other control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
* Electrical and mechanical building services experience.
* Professional certificates are desirable.
* Familiarity with PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
* Strong customer focus with good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritise duties and work under pressure.
* Fault finding and problem-solving techniques.
* Willingness to work as part of a team, be self-motivated and professional.
* Willingness to provide rotating on-call cover.
