Sanderson are partnering with an Insurance Group in Dublin 2 to recruit for an Assistant Accountant to complete a six month contract, with a view for extension.
This Associate-level role offers the opportunity to work closely with both local and international finance teams, contributing to the smooth financial operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing monthly income statements
* Reconcile cash payments with commission statements and invoices
* Analyse debtor balances and aged debtor provisions
* Support monthly forecasting and bad debt management
* Prepare and issue invoices
* Liaise with central Finance teams in London to ensure seamless financial operations
* Manage inputs and timelines within a monthly financial cycle
* Reporting Structure
* Reports directly to the Head of Operations
* Dotted-line reporting to the Finance Department in London
Qualifications and experience required
* Degree-level education preferred Accounting, Finance, Business
* Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* At least 2 years experience in a similar accounting position
* Insurance or Financial Services sector experience
