Role summary:
We're seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive strategic prospecting and generate new business opportunities. You'll work with existing leads and proactively reach out via calls, emails and social media messaging. You'll partner with our Account Executives to identify "good fit" companies, understand their challenges and communicate how Butler Technologies can support them.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct high-volume outreach and prospecting to generate qualified leads (new users and potential customers)
* Collaborate closely with 2–3 Account Executives to develop and implement prospecting strategies and plans
* Schedule online product demonstrations for qualified leads, ensuring monthly targets are met
* Use sales methodologies (e.g., BANT) to understand customer needs and challenges
* Carry out market research to broaden the customer base of Butler Technologies
Qualifications:
* A strong desire and commitment to build a career in Sales
* Experience in sales or prospecting is a plus — working in a high-growth, "scale-up" environment is beneficial
* Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
* A goal-driven mindset with a structured approach to achieving targets
* Ability to handle objections and a willingness to be coached
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Passion for helping businesses grow and interest in the tech industry
