IT Staff is excited to be recruiting two
Architects
to join a major Irish government agency responsible for some of the nation's most iconic buildings. From
Dublin Castle
to the
Custom House
, the
Four Courts
, the
National Museum of Ireland
and more, this is a rare chance to make a lasting impact on Ireland's architectural heritage.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days will be the same. You'll be:
* Leading
conservation, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects
on landmark State-owned buildings.
* Collaborating with
specialist craftspeople
on historic joinery, plasterwork, and metalwork.
* Producing
high-quality AutoCAD drawings
and contract documentation.
* Driving projects from concept through to completion, both in the office and
on-site management
.
* Working alongside a skilled design team to safeguard and reimagine some of Ireland's most treasured structures.
What We're Looking For
* At least
5 years' post-graduation experience
, including project/site management.
* Strong design and drawing skills, with
proficiency in AutoCAD
.
* A genuine
passion for historic buildings
and an eagerness to contribute to their conservation.
* Conservation experience is a real advantage.
Education & Experience
Ideally, you'll bring:
* A postgraduate qualification in building conservation
and/or
at least 2 years' experience working with historic buildings, monuments, or protected structures.
Extra Points If You Have:
* Experience on
public or government buildings
.
* Hands-on involvement in building conservation projects.
* A proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and deliver results.
