Summary of the role:
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CMN 2) has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within Lauralynn House. The main responsibilities are quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
The CNM 2, working in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), is responsible for planning Hospice services, supporting care staff and ensuring the resources are available to meet the needs of the children and families while I the LauraLynn House.

Essential Criteria - ideally the successful candidate will possess the following:
Fully Registered RCN, RGN or RNID with NMBI
5 years post registration/qualification experience of working with children or young people with life-limiting conditions and their families
Experience in delivering expert clinical practice.
Experience managing change and developing services.
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary care team environment where there is a commitment to working with the whole family.
Experience of managing a complex case load
Experience of managing a team
Experience of Risk Management
Experience of Quality Improvement
Strong leadership and people management skills
Good IT skills
Evidence of critical appraisal/evaluation skills
Ability to make high level clinical decisions
