Job Title: Financial Operations Director
Job Description:
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement financial processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Manage and support the finance team in their day-to-day activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, transaction posting checks and corrections, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany charges.
* Partner with senior leadership to set and monitor budgets and develop financial models to support business decisions.
* Oversee group procurement function, ensuring effective and efficient processes are in place.
* Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process to ensure smooth and efficient audits.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
* Background in the construction/engineering industry preferred.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
