Role Overview
e're hiring an experienced
Data Architect
for a focused 3-month engagement to transform our data infrastructure. You'll review our existing architecture, design an optimized data model, implement our database structure, and create a comprehensive data warehouse roadmap—establishing the foundation for our data-driven future.
Start Date:
February 2, 2026 (or as close to that as possible)
Duration:
3 months (12 weeks), full-time

With potential for extension or permanent transition
What You'll Do
Review and assess our existing data architecture
Design comprehensive data models unifying marketplace + operational data
Implement database structure with migration processes + quality frameworks
Create data warehouse architecture and implementation roadmap
Deliver technical documentation and knowledge transfer
Key Deliverables
Current state assessment with improvement recommendations
Complete data model documentation and implemented database
Data governance framework and quality monitoring
Data warehouse architecture design and roadmap
Knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills:
* Data modelling and database design
* SQL and programming (Python, Scala, or Java)
* Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Data warehousing and lakehouse architectures
* ETL/ELT and pipeline orchestration tools
* API integration and version control
Bonus Points:
* Marketplace or e-commerce platform experience
* Sports, entertainment, or influencer marketing background
* BI tools expertise (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
* Real-time analytics or ML infrastructure experience
