Job Overview
Elis is seeking an experienced maintenance expert to oversee upkeep and engineering across a multi-site facility in Ireland.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage daily maintenance operations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
* Oversee and optimise the preventative maintenance programme using CMMS software.
* Plan and manage capital expenditure and engineering projects from design through to installation and commissioning.
* Develop, monitor, and manage maintenance costs, including forecasting and control.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a large technical team, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment faults to minimise production disruption.
* Maintain maintenance procedures, SOPs, and documentation, ensuring compliance and improvement.
* Drive initiatives to enhance asset reliability, efficiency, and process improvement.
* Collaborate closely with production, quality, and H&S teams to support seamless operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (trade or third-level qualification), 23 years experience as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor managing a large team, proven maintenance management experience in manufacturing.
