As the Health & Safety Officer, you'll champion a positive H&S culture across the organisation and client sites—promoting safety awareness, ensuring legislative compliance, and providing support to employees, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain an ISO*****-aligned Health & Safety Management System across all ESSystems companies, sites, employees, and customers
Provide inductions and ongoing H&S training to employees
Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards, suggest risk reduction measures, and advise on PPE needs
Advise management on legislative H&S obligations and internal group standards
Foster proactive consultation on Health & Safety with employees, customers, and suppliers
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years in a H&S role within operations, contracting, or construction contexts
Full driving license and readiness to travel to multiple sites.
Travel to Dublin 1 day a week
Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement abilities
Desired Skills & Certifications
Proficiency in ISO***** frameworks
Experience with H&S legislation and standards
Capability to deliver training sessions and manage safety documentation
Ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams
