Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
for their well-established hotel in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to further their career in a thriving property known for high standards of service and guest experience.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will support the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading, motivating, and developing the team while ensuring that exceptional service is delivered consistently.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist the F&B Manager in the day-to-day management of all food and beverage operations.
* Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent guest service.
* Support in team scheduling, rostering, and performance management.
* Monitor and manage stock levels and assist in ordering supplies.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene standards.
* Respond to guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Contribute to achieving departmental sales targets and driving revenue.
* Foster strong communication and teamwork between service and kitchen teams.
Requirements
* Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in food and beverage within a hotel or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and customer-focused approach with the ability to lead by example.
* Sound knowledge of restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility across shifts.
* Must be
living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
