Assistant Technical Project Manager
Team Horizon is seeking an Assistant Technical Project Manager for a company based in Kilkenny, covering the south east. The Capital & Estates team provides professional, technical, project management, property, Fire & Safety, and related services for the health service’s physical infrastructure, including buildings, plant, and equipment. Services include design, project management, supervision, procurement, and maintenance of capital projects, infrastructural risk, asset management, property services, fire, health, safety, energy, and sustainability. There is potential to be based in Waterford, Wexford, or South Tipperary.

What you will be doing:
* Assist in preparing comprehensive briefs for major and minor capital projects.
* Prepare budgets and ensure projects stay within them.
* Manage Minor Works lists, contractor selection, and tender recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with EU procurement and financial regulations.
* Supervise staff and contractors.
* Provide technical support to service personnel and other team members.
* Develop maintenance programs for buildings, services, and equipment.
* Define maintenance requirements and prioritize resource allocation.
* Develop and supervise maintenance and capital works contracts.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and support property management activities.
* Assess infrastructure and implement risk management procedures.
* Advise on energy use, environmental standards, and safety measures.
* Participate in sustainable initiatives and risk monitoring.
* Engage in performance and stakeholder communication.
* Support health and safety, quality standards, and transformation programs.
What you need to apply:
* Level 8 (or higher) QQI qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying from a recognized professional body.
* Full membership of a relevant professional association.
* At least five years’ relevant experience in planning, design, project management, or building services.
* Demonstrated knowledge and administrative capacity for the role.
