Innovation & Technology Focused – Be part of a company that embraces digital transformation, system automation, and data-driven decision-making.About Your New JobAs the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Managing Director and Board, taking ownership of all financial management, systems, and back-office functionsYou'll work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure financial stability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.In this role, you will:Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, working capital, and cash flow.Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, board reports, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.Oversee audit, compliance, payroll, tax, insurance, and financial control frameworks.Drive profitability and margin improvement across the organisation.Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), identifying risks and opportunities to improve performance.Oversee systems and process improvements, leveraging technology such as Power BI, SQL, and AI tools (e.g. CoPilot, ChatGPT) to enhance reporting and efficiency.Act as a hands-on business partner to the leadership team, supporting decision-making, tenders, and new investments.Lead and develop teams across finance, IT, procurement, and office functions.What Skills You NeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CMA), with at least 5 years PQEProven experience in a similar level leadership role is essentialPrevious people management experience, with demonstrable experience developing and motivating teams.What's on OfferSenior Leadership Opportunity – Join the management team of a growing Irish business and influence strategic direction.Career Progression – Exposure to board-level decision-making, commercial operations, and digital transformation.Attractive Package – Competitive salary (DOE) with benefits, strong work-life balance, and a supportive, collaborative culture.Whats next?Submit your CV in confidence via the link below to Natasha @ Sigmar Recruitment.
